While am playing The game the computer freezes or bsod happens.

I get this error:
ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x705C0)
Bugcheck code: 0x1A (0x41284, 0x53B9001, 0x2B7F, 0xFFFFF70001080000)
Error: MEMORY_MANAGEMENT

I get a bsod or a freeze every time am in the game.

I also use Tune up utilties to defrag and fix registry. I already ran a disk check but it said nothing was wrong. I reinstalled the game and windows about 5 times.

We do need the DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.

The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:

*Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl Press Enter.
*Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery - Settings... button.
*Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
*Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kb) in the drop down box (the 256kb varies).
*Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
*OK.
Reboot if changes have been made.

Three problems you need to attend to.

1-ASACPI.SYS

The pre 2009 version of this driver is a known BSOD cause.

Please visit this link: ASUS teK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download P7P55D LE
ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download P7P55D LE

Scroll down to the Utilities category, then scroll down to the "ATK0110 driver for WindowsXP/Vista/Windows 7 32&64-bit" (it's about the 12th item down).
Download and install it.
Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers to check and make sure that the ASACPI.SYS file is date stamped from 2009 or 2010 (NOT 2005).

2-Old drivers
Code:
[COLOR=Red]ASACPI.sys    [/COLOR]3/28/2005 1:30:36 PM        fffff880`053f4000    fffff300`053fc000    0xfffffa8000008000    0x42476c4c
[COLOR=Red]ElRawDsk.sys    [/COLOR]7/27/2008 4:59:09 AM        fffff880`0105c000    fffff300`01066000    0xfffffa800000a000    0x488b65ed
L1C62x64.sys 4/1/2009 4:09:17 PM fffff880`053d7000 fffff300`053e9000 0xfffffa8000012000 0x49d2f6fd
How To Find Drivers:
- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
- - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference Driver Reference
- - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: Drivers and Downloads

3-Your Avast

Avast is blamed for the probable cause of these crashes.
Please remove & replace with Microsoft Security Essentials

http://files.avast.com/files/eng/aswclear5.exe

Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows

Downloaded ASACPI.sys driver

ElRawDsk.sys driver says I had to get an evaluation key for it to function and it says on the website for developers only http://www.eldos.com/rawdisk/download-release.php

I couldn't find the drivers for ElRawDsk.sys and L1C62x64.sys.
am also still getting bsods.

Your most recent DMP still has the 2005 asacpi.sys. It still needs to be removed.

Other drivers that cant be updated should be removed if not essential

The digital signature for asacpi.sys said 2008-2009, when I checked. Also the computer now freezes and I can't move the mouse and after I shutdown and click the power button the screen stays black. The screen also sometimes just goes black while am using teh computer and sometimes the computer shuts down it self.
I greatly hate this computer:mad:

Dont know where you are looking or with what but in the most recent DMP (11/12/2011) it is still dated 2005 if you have changed it since then great.

Yeah, I was just pulling your leg. The "Memory" in your spec should refer to your DRAM memory. Folks usually put the disk drives in "Hard Drives". It's less confusing for us woodsy folks. ;)

Yes, but it's not the same as Memory shown in your spec. Click on "My System Specs" in the lower left of a posting and you'll see what I mean. Trivial but it helps people visualize your system and provides a quick reference for each post. Filling out YOUR system specs in the future could speed a reply.

There's many causes for a BSOD. Your's appears to be driver caused and compounded by multiple failures. I believe the previous respondents have given a path to follow for repairs. It can get very technical so if you need additional help, it may serve you better to use a local service.

I didn't read through all the posts but did you attempt a Repair Install from your original Windows DVD? Has your system drive been checked for errors?

Am going to format and re-install windows. Will this fix anything? Do i still have to download the drivers for these ASACPI.sys, ElRawDsk.sys, and L1C62x64.sys. Should i still use Tune Up utilities to fix rigiestry and such?

The computer says American Megatrends click F1 to resume I have no idea what this is also.

I got a bsod after installing windows update. So when I install updates I get bsods and when I don't install any I get bsods. This is weird.
