Solved How do I get rid of Babylon ?

Hello again.

I found babylon in the registry in may places. All but one could be deleted.

I tried to delete the mentioned one, but couldn't delete it.

I have the idea, that this string is the culprit of mine.

How do I delete it ?.

try right clicking and modify the http:/ to google and see if it works

did you close and open internet explorer? do you get any box that say you don't have permission to modify it?

Yes I did that. I ran the regedit as administrator, and got no permission info.

so you mean its not there anymore? you don't get any babylon anymore? can you post me a screen shot of your internet explorer now?

No, and Sorry ... the babylon entry persist in the registry.

1. Go to my Computer
2. Double-click (C
3. Double-click Programs
4. Find the Babylon folder
5. Delete it
6. Go to your browser
7. And see if it's gone.

Babylon is not installed. It's just a matter of being in the start part, so every time IE is started, babylon comes up

In Regedit, press CTRL+F and search Babylon, delete that file., press CTRL+F again, delete the next, keep doing so until none are left.

Make a registry Backup and Windows Backup first though.
