btw, you said that when you try installing internet explorer it gives you an error that
"windows explorer is shutting down" it shouldn't be showing that. i think something is corrupt with your OS now
can you post a screen shot of your processes in task manager?

No it didn't gave this error. It shows me, that I should close Windows Explorer.

okay, but either way. while installing internet explorer i never get such a pop up telling me i should close windows explorer. this means theres something is wrong down there. the picture you attached is your task bar, what i meant was task manager. so right click on your task bar and click "start task manager" or simply do ctrl-alt-del and start click "start task manager" there. go to the processes tab and maximize it and post a screen shot of it.

Did you take ownership of it?

And Right Click on Main from the left and choose Permissions.

Click Advanced.

Untick "Include inheritable permissions from this object's parents" and chose Remove.

Click Add and type your Computer's Name, it should say directly above and type

BOBSCOMPUTER\Users - Click Full Control.
BOBSCOMPUTER\Administrators - Click Full Control.

Bob isn't my name, it is just an example

Click Apply and OK.

Now try opening the reg file.

Also may I ask, are you the main administrator of the computer.?

You could also try running regedit as an Admin.

Download the attatchement in this post, save it to your Desktop and Right Click and select Run as Administrator:

I did use the TakeOwnership reg file here from Sevenforums, but no luck.
Should the above, that you wrote be with what I show in the attachment ?

Go to Control Panel and select System.

Tell me what it says under Computer Name and Full Computer Name, I am guessing your PC Name is Jajka4 but I need Clarification.

If it is you would type:

Lajka4\Administrators
Lajka4\Users
