The only DMP after the install is inconclusive. If you are getting BSOD's on a clean install (nothing noithing extra installed) its hardware.

Re-run memtest
Try this free stress test: Free Software - GIMPS
Prime95 Setup:
- extract the contents of the zip file to a location of your choice
- double click on the executable file
- select "Just stress testing"
- select the "Blend" test. If you've already run MemTest overnight you may want to run the "Small FFTs" test instead.
- "Number of torture test threads to run" should equal the number of CPU's times 2 (if you're using hyperthreading).
The easiest way to figure this out is to go to Task Manager...Performance tab - and see the number of boxes under CPU Usage History
Then run the test for 6 to 24 hours - or until you get errors (whichever comes first).
The Test selection box and the stress.txt file describes what components that the program stresses.

FurMark download site: FurMark: VGA Stress Test, Graphics Card and GPU Stability Test, Burn-in Test, OpenGL Benchmark and GPU Temperature | oZone3D.Net
FurMark Setup:
- If you have more than one GPU, select Multi-GPU during setup
- In the Run mode box, select "Stability Test" and "Log GPU Temperature"
Click "Go" to start the test
- Run the test until the GPU temperature maxes out - or until you start having problems (whichever comes first).
NOTE: Set the alarm to go off at 90ºC. Then watch the system from that point on. If the system doesn't display a temperature, watch it constantly and turn it off at the first sign of video problems. DO NOT leave it it unmonitored, it can DAMAGE your video card!!!
If the temperature gets above 105ºC, quit the test - the video card is overheating.
- Click "Quit" to exit

I'm currently running Memtest. I'm going to run it over night. So far 2 passes and no errors.

If it's possibly a hardware problem, I'll give some details.

3/02/10: Went to BestBuy, bought the PC.

I do not know the date but sometime in 2010 I had BSOD and just clean installed windows again and my problem was solved.

January 2011: I upgraded to NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 and an Antech 750w power supply.

6/20/11 I took it to BestBuy, when it was still under warranty, for BSODs. They sent it to HP and replaced the motherboard and that is all far as I know. I never got paperwork on what they actually did, just a phone call and I just woke up from them calling me at the time.

When I got my PC back from HP the time clock is goes back or forward hundreds of years and some times the icons on the taskbar are blank. I read about the CMOS battery and checked it. It was a brand new battery and I still have that problem.

I took it to best buy around November last year for BOSDs. They said it was probably software and they don't cover that. They didn't even run any test on it though.

The guy told me that I couldn't mix my ram? Even though I never changed any ram ever. They are all DDR 3. but I have 2 sticks of 2.5gigs and one of 1 gig. Don't know if that's a problem.

Sorry for so much text.
I don't know if some of the things there even matter but I'm just trying to find a solution :P

Again, thank you for all the help so far, I am really grateful of you guys!

EDIT:

So I ran Memtest overnight. Ran for 13 hours, 8 passes and 0 errors. So I'll start the next test now

I was just starting to run Prime95 and I didn't have enough time to even run it before I got a BSOD. Maybe I'll have to clean install again :/

Win 7 is very memory finicky. Mixing ram (even if the same mfr, model, speed, and latency) can cause stability issues.

MFR's only match memory from the same package.

Well, I didn't get to run any other test but I'm gonna mark this as solved. As that may sound like a good thing, unfortunately, it's not. My computer won't even turn on anymore. And what I mean by that is. It gets power, fans run, any lights ect ect. But there is no display. Out on my graphics card or that graphic processor that's integrated into the motherboard. So I'm going to build a new pc. I don't really have much money to deal with but I'll start with a new motherboard. I know some friends that may have parts laying around. I know my ram and power supply are good for sure. Not too sure about the CPU and hard drive. I'm pretty sure that GFX card is good. But I'll find out. Thanks for all the help. And even though I have a broke down PC. You did help me with all the BSOD's on the software side. You guys helped my find out it was hardware and find out my ram was good. I do really appreciated. I plan on sticking around this forum. It's a great place. Maybe not too much at the moment but once I have my OWN computer again. I will be sure to check here daily.

Thank you all so much!

Before you give up, just wanted to check one possibility: Did you try a different display? Any chance the current display is the issue?

I imagine you already thought of this, but figured it would be better to add it just in case.

I'm with writhziden here. Don't give up. Let's do some hardware trouble shooting. If you are not getting a post screen we need to disconnect everything. Let's disconnect all external devices, leaving only the keyboard. Disconnect the SATA cable going to all Optical drives and HDDs. Remove the GPU and connect the monitor to your Onboard video. Try to reboot. If you still don't post, remove one stick of RAM and reboot, still no post? Remove another stick of RAM. Do this until you post. If you get to the last stick of RAM and you still don't post, remove it and reinstall the stick removed prior to the last one being removed.

Post back
