What are you running? RC public release from microsoft or RTM from MSDN ? reasons why? I'm thinking about going back to the RC. I don't remember the rc being as buggy as the rtm. i'm having more program crashes and windows media center is more buggy then the rc.

I'm using the RC1 release because I don't torrent OS's because I just don't trust that they are not compromised in some way.

As far as bugs and problems, you had better hope that you get the issues resolved with patches and updates as that is what the actual release is going to be. Remember, the RC1 release is going to timeout next year....so it's not really suitable for long term use.

I think you'll find that no-one here is using a 'torrent'ed RTM as we don't believe in piracy ;)

I would like to hear more about the problems your having with the RTM. I have been running it for about a week now and have yet to find any of the bugs that the RC did. (and yes I have a technet account)

+1 some 'bug' info would be handy, it might be something we can fix here, as we do :p

edit: just seen the 'craching' & 'MC' issues bit. I've never had an issue with 7MC in the RTM and I only have a 'small' system (see 'My System Specs')

I haven't noticed any bugs so far :) Its working pretty darn good for me, both on my laptop, my eee and on my Media center :geek:

I'm using the RTM from Technet. I've been having a weird little bug in WMC. Sometimes if I pause it and then play it, or if I jump ahead a bit, the image from where I stopped it stays on the screen, although very translucent, so that I can still see the video playing in the background. It's very odd.
