Issues expanding C partition into Free Space

Previously I had installed Ubuntu on my laptop but, after running into some issues, had to remove it. After the partition process I ended up with the original partitions the computer came with and a lot of unallocated free space. However, the Windows 7 Disk Management tool will not allow me to expand any of the drives. I would like to enlarge the C partition to use all the available free space but after searching through various threads and articles I cannot figure out how to do so. A screen shot is attached, thanks for any help.

Hi, welcome to seven forums!
under programs and features, there should be an uninstall file to ubuntu.
Also under system>advanced settings there should be somewhere where you can allocate this.

The partitions need to be unallocated.

The 393GB free space and the LENOVO partition have a dark green border. LENOVO is logical partition. Together they are in the EXTENDED partition. Just download Partition Wizard HOME. Now run it and do:

right click C and do move/resize. Make it as large as you want. Now click apply

Linux is already gone. He boots succesfully in win7 so http://www.sevenforums.com/installation-setup/178280-error-0xc0000225-boot.html#post1514443 isn't the issue as well. The light green space is unallocated space so not a volume at all.

Yes, and you should be able to shrink the unallocated extended from windows if you wanted, correct ?

In win7 you can only shrink and extend to the right side....not to the left side. Only volumes can be shrunk or extended.... not partitions as far as I know. Most of the time you format a partition.... so make it a volume.
