Comodo antivirus is preventing the installation of a software.

I can I make an exception for certain softwares? This is the software that's it's preventing (choco player) : 달콤한 상상! ì´ˆì½”í”Œë ˆì´ì–´ì— ì˜¤ì‹ ê²ƒì„ 환영합니다!

I've used it before and it's a good program.

It will likely take the same time to reinstall as the first time. I've never used Comodo but it should have a disable feature somewhere within its settings? I'll ask for some help.

Hello Girom try this for starters mate if you just want to disable it rather than me describe it this gives you the graphics Comodo Internet Security Enabling / Disabling AV, Firewall and Behavior Blocker,CIS v6.0

If you want to uninstall it then Revo is probably the best uninstaller to use Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems you can download the full version for a trial period it is more thorough but the free version should suffice. I don't know of any dedicated Comodo remover tools and I know from the Comodo forum they have a batch file which can be run at your OWN risk. Personally I would not go there.

If you do indeed want to uninstall and do not get much luck with Revo getting rid of it completely then let us know. There is a way by using the regedit command but that is not for the faint hearted.

As a matter of interest are you running any other AV software at the same time??

I would be willing to bet that at least Defender (MSE for Windows 8) is still enabled.

Yep Derek I have this feeling there is something not quite right as I have installed and uninstalled this stuff for a while now. Mind you I do find the later versions are getting in some ways easier in some aspects and more convoluted in others.
My main objection is that Geek Buddy thing.

You don't need to do the lot of them and you will lose a tad of the "bling" like transparency but if that doesn't float your boat then disable it and the other 'goodies"

It is still stopping the installation even when I disabled everything permanently on the Codomo. Do I have no choice but to disable it? Maybe if deleted Comodo and installed Avira that would be ok?

Yes. You have two AV programs running, probably fighting each other.

Well you need to disable one of them for sure, start with defender if you are going to keep comodo.

I don't know anything about comodo. If it was my computer right now, I'd uninstall comodo and try to clear up your various issues before trying to install other stuff.

What happened with the other thread I linked, are you still getting the flash player pro pop up?

Look s like a bit of a mess I found today too that Windows Defender and the Windows Firewall was slowing my machine down - didn't know they were on as Kaspersky usually turns that stuff off when it installs.

What Britton is saying too makes sense as that first post gibberish had me wondering what the heck it was to be honest.

Plus as Derek says two AV's mate no go the Comodo I found rather good except for that wretched Geek Buddy and it was free. But there are plenty of free stuff around if you want something a little more heavy weight than Defender.
