Hi,

I am trying to install Nero 9 but I keep getting an error message realting to Temp App Data, I have cleard outa all the temp fiels but the problems still happen. Any ideas?

a simple restart should solve your problem....

if not clean your temps file (most preferably using CCleaner)

Thanks for your reply.

I have tried a reboot and run ccleaner I am now getting an error message saying that Nero Installer has stopped working. I have tried the compatabilty mode with vista but it still wont work?

Has anyone tried any of Autodesk's applications on the new OS yet? Specifically I am looking into the compatability of Civil 3D.

I had heard there were compatability issues with the 64-bit but dont know yet if that has been resolved. Just wondering if anyone has any knowledge of that before I go ask on the Autodesk forums.

since i have 64bit OS i can say that 3ds max design 2009 works OOB (i would recommend to patch it to sp1 and or the august hotfix

adobe acrobat 8 pro www.adobe.com Doesn't seem to be working any more... the program just closes after being open for about 5-10 seconds. If I bring up a save window it won't close the program, but as soon as I save it will close the program. I'm not getting any errors... I got it to work in Compatibility mode.. it stays open now

Everything that I had working on my old vista x64 hard drive has installed and worked flawlessly with windows 7 x64.

I also installed Trend Micro (PC-Cillin) Internet Security 2009, the install went smoothly and as I was downloading an update I recieved a blue screen for a Driver IRQL less or not equal. I am unsure if the error was caused by Trend Micro, but the software seems to be working fine now. www.TrendMicro.com

I have Adobe CS3 Design premium. When I try to install it it ether stalls at "Loading Setup..." or gives my the error in the attached screen shot. I'd love to find this Setup Log, but I can't find it. Any clues as to where it may be located? Also, any clues as to why this is happening?

If its not in the main local drive (Default C:\ ) it could be somewhere in Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Adobe\

Ok, I found the file, but it's just a huge block of nonsense. It's a .log file, so I guess that's just notepad. I wish I knew how to tell what was wrong... I tried copying the files to he hard drive first, but that did not help. I got the same error.

is this this from the cd itself (do you have any scratches on the cd???) ok what you can do is go to the bottom of the log file( we don't need everything we just need the bottom part were the error is)

I gave it a try, but it didn't work for me. Still just sat at the loading setup screen.
The good news(right...) it is my computer, not the disc, for the installation worked just fine on my friends' machine.
