I play Battlefield 3, Metro2033, The witcher, Far cry 3 and a tons of other games without any problem.

But when I play LoL or WoW, way less demanding games I get a black screen, while the sound continues or a black screen with vertrical stripes with a sound loop or grey screen. I get it daily only with these 2 games.

My setup is in the file Rohied-PC

Also the only difference between those games are the crashing and the non crashing is that the crashing games require internet to play..

Are you overclocking? I would reseat your card, and make sure your motherboard and graphic card drivers are up to date. Monitor your temps too. What is your psu?

Computer is indeed overclocked, videocard however is not. OC is stable, running like this for the past 2 years probably.

Runs @3ghz climbs to 3.61 when needed nothing fishy or something I guess. Memory timing 9-9-9-24.

Didn't touch the videocard, did put new coolerpaste on it but it runs fairly low ( 38 ) so it shoulnd't be an overheating problem whatsoever.

Thanks for helping me. This is not for the game though, it's for a program like fraps called ''Lolreplay'' that records the game for you.

Happened twice today, black screen, sound continues to play. On both LoL and WoW.

However when I play Hitman, a much more demanding games for up to 5 hours+ nothing happens at all.

Sorry about that. I would try reinstalling the game, sounds like it it game related as more stressfull games run fine.

Thats what I thought too, I did multiple reinstalls, all from different sources/ways of installing/ on new useraccounts etc nothing helped. I thought it was the game at fault, but when I started playing World of Warcraft it gave the exact same problem.

Both these games are played online, and every other game I play are offline so I think it could be a wifi driver conflicting whatsoever, could this give black screens? I did try reinstalling internet drivers but didn't help out much.

Also had probably reinstalled Windows 7 a few times by now, nothing really worked. Its fully up to date with every windows update etc and latest catalyst 13.9 drivers, still no luck.

If you could, I would go to a wired connection. Wifi is not good for gaming.

If it would be an option I would've done it today already hehe, pc is on the most upper floor and my parents dont want a 50 meter cable going tru the house..

Even though the signal is excellent, gets 100% reach I am really clueless on why it keeps giving this black screen

I have been looking for weeks, before it used the crash every probably 5 minutes in game. I tried every tweak and fix there is out there and now I can last a lil longer but it still happens on a daily basis and just cannot play anymore since it will get me banned and I end up losing games..

Advanced System Care is more of a System-Killer - uninstall it.
Then do a repair install :)

Havent tried it yet, but like I said I can do everything I want on the computer, except this certain game.

However I do remember a couple of months ago I was watching a youtube video and it suddenly restarted and hanged on the Bios boot screen, when I turned it off I had the exact same problem. Everything running but no screen. Resetted cmos, worked fine afterwards.

Now I had the exact same problem except cmos reset didn't work, had to remove a ram to make it boot with screen.
