Hi everybody.

I'm having a problem with my computer. This will happen occasionally. When I shut down my computer, it will reboot instead, and I have to shut it down again for it to shut down. And also, when the computer enters into sleep mode, the computer will sometimes restart on its own and a message will appear on the desktop saying something like, your system has recovered from an error.

Also I have a new problem. Recently I just bought a new monitor. It's an Asus VE278H 27"
My recent monitor was a 19". But after I switched from my 19" to 27" my computer will sometimes freeze and I had to reboot it. And when windows reboots, on my desktop, appears a message saying something such as my computer had an unexpected shut down, and then my comp freezes again.

What info would you need to help me in diagnosing this problem.

I'm running windows 7
It's an Alienware Aurora
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 930 @2.80GHz
9.00GB Ram
64-Bit operating system

Please bare with me. I'm trying to learn as I go in solving this problem. Much help is greatly appreciated.
