I can't change my homepage in IE11

Hi guys. I accidentally changed my home page and search provider to [waiting for administrators to allow me to write the website]. I tried to change my home page by Internet Options. No luck. Also, I removed that website as my search provider, no luck. I tried to clean the history, no luck. I tried to start by a blank tab, no luck. I tried to use the last session tabs, still no luck. Please help me! -WMF

I'm not really understanding what you did ? "Waiting for admin's" what does this mean,

Is this your computer or a company issue ?
Export Favorites to html file before resetting Internet explorer/ just to be safe.

Sounds like your browser has been 'hijacked' by adware.......

download AdwCleaner by Xplode and save to your Desktop.

• Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
  Vista/Windows 7/8 users right-click and select Run As Administrator.
• Click on the Scan button.
• AdwCleaner will begin...be patient as the scan may take some time to complete.
• After the scan has finished, click on the Report button...a logfile (AdwCleaner[R#].txt) will open in Notepad for review (where the largest value of # represents the most recent report).
• The contents of the log file may be confusing. Unless you see a program name that you know should not be removed, don't worry about it. If you see an entry you want to keep, let me know about it.
• Copy and paste the contents of that logfile in your next reply.
• A copy of all logfiles are saved in the C:\AdwCleaner folder which was created when running the tool.

Using AdwCleaner v3: Scan & Clean:
Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool again.
Click on the Scan button.
AdwCleaner will begin to scan your computer like it did before.
After the scan has finished...

This time click on the Clean button.
Press OK when asked to close all programs and follow the onscreen prompts.
Press OK again to allow AdwCleaner to restart the computer and complete the removal process.
After rebooting, a logfile report (AdwCleaner[S#].txt) will open automatically (where the largest value of # represents the most recent report).
Copy and paste the contents of that logfile in your next reply.
A copy of that logfile will also be saved in the C:\AdwCleaner folder

I forgot to copy the logfile, and it didn't work too. Same as the post #2. I reset IE but still I can't change it. I think re-installing Windows is the only thing I can do now.

Don`t reinstall windows yet. Install MSE and MBAM and run full scans.

You downloaded and installed something without unchecking the check boxes, slow down and pay attention to what you`re doing

Safe mode with networking,
Shut down your machine, Unplug-Hold the power button down for 30/45 seconds (Power Drain)
Power up and Tap the F8 key continuously until you see a black page with white text,
Use the down arrow key to toggle to safe mode with networking/ hit the enter key.
Login as usual

OK, an idea no one has suggested, uninstall Internet Explorer all the way back to IE 8

See if that works, you can always re install IE 11, but I recommend only going to 10 right now, wait a while to install 11

Use the second option through Local Group Policy Editor (Click Start , type gpedit.msc in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER)
