start up repair loop, cannot get to command prompt

My kid added tons of add ware with his games. After going through control panel, remove program etc. the computer went into an endless loop of start up repair. did different recommended things from other sites, including replacing my registry with an old stored registry. It then went back to old user accounts, I do not have passwords to and I can't even sign in to get command prompt anymore. I got the computer as a hand me down. Called the original owner who gave me a password that didn't work, and of course neither one of us has a windows disk. How can I safe this baby without buying a new windows disk.

You did kind of registry restore. .... Now not knowing password. Much malware on system. Do you think that's repairable??

Prevent automatic restart so you see why it does crash. Select "Disable Automatic Restart on System Failure" in http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/666-advanced-boot-options.html to enable that for next boot.

Safe mode is not working either. Nothing works, not even command prompt since it now wants me to enter a password after resetting everything from the computer's backup. I guess it didn't automatically back up and went back to a time and password nobody knows. Any other ways to turn off the automatic repair functions. I would love to make a boot disk on another computer, but the only running choice is an older Windows XP computer I borrowed from my X, thinking it had Windows 7.

As for the sticker question, did turn box on side to find the blue Windows sticker, it has Windows 7 Home premium and the serial numbers on it.

Disabled automatic restart, get blue screen error box: problem has been detected and windows has automaticLly shut down to prevent damage. ....... asks to check for viruses, remove newly installed hard drives ....make sure it's properly configured....run CHKDSK /F

I did the CHKDSK before the logging issue, tried to go to older configuration, but there were only 3 dates available, none of which worked.

Figured out tonight that the login opens without a password, so I can get to command prompt Repeated the CHKDSK, going back to the earlest time it remembered, etc. typed some fix commands in I found on another site. So far no success. I would love to run a malware check from disk or CD, but I couldn't get anything to open using notepad via command prompt, which was another thing I saw on a different site with similar issues. Any suggestions???

Sounds like a problem driver.

The simplest solution is to download the win7 sp1 media refresh .iso ( link is in tutorial ) and reinstall using the product key from your sticker.
