Like the title says, today I did a clean install of my Windows 7 OS on my 4 year old Alienware MX15. Straight after the install was finished, I noticed my screen resolution was incorrect, however, after checking the resolution settings, I was greeted by this:
The highest available resolution I can select is 1400x1050. Which stretches my screen out noticeably.
Initially, I dismissed this as needing to install all my windows updates and graphics drivers, but with all that done, the issue is still present!

I installed the latest ATI Catalyst drivers, but that didn't fix the problem.
