"Attempt to reset display driver and recover from timeout" BSOD vaio
I'm experiencing BSID issues apparently due to graphic card.
Computer:vaio vgn-fw51mf laptop
system : windows 7 home premium 64 service pack 1.
graphic card:
The issues started with computer bugs when Alt-tabbing, but one day I got a "Attempt to reset display driver and recover from timeout" bluescreen and since then the only way to make the computer run properly is to disable the graphic card driver from the control pannel.
The bluescreen does not allways appear, but the screen frequently goes black just right after the windows screen, or sometimes windows starts but I immediately get continuous “Display driver stopped responding and has recovered” errors.
Initially I thought that it was a hard drive issue, as I've been running the computer several months with an almost full hard drive, but now that I freed some HD space (205 free GB out of 454 GB) the problem persist.
I tried to unistall my drivers and update them: any results. I hope not have a hardware issue!
Please, any help will be precious!
Thanks in advance

I found that waiting for the video driver to finish refreshing those icons to eliminate the few remaining BSOD events for me
