What don't you like about Windows 7?

If a solution comes along for something somebody doesnt like then great but if not then thats ok to...

Touch pack is touted as a Windows 7 feature, but it's only available through OEM. I realize this only affects a very small user group, but if it's a win 7 feature, it should be included, or be available to the GP somehow. It's being written up as a Win 7 feature, and it kind of chaps me that I can't get the package.

They should provide a basic installation option where they install the system as today with all the bells and whistles - for people who do not want to bother or have only basic skills. And then there should be a custom installation option where one can pick and choose and reduce the bloat - like built-in vLite. Plus there should be ways to control some of the monster files like winsxs so that those do not grow to ridiculous sizes.
The modularity of the system is too basic and there are too many uncontrollable interdependencies. As an example: Why does the Snipping Tool depend on the Tablet PC option. Answer: Legacy, and they cannot be bothered to seperate it properly.

another take on that would be software support. Forget Home Premium and Professional etc, imagine every single person having a customised version of windows with differing dependencies removed. It would be bedlam. It would end up like linux, except without a convenient package manager to resolve dependencies - so like gentoo lol

back to the topic: In vista, it was nice to have the windows one colour, while the taskbar stayed black. Kinda sexy black, with a nice wallpaper.
In windows 7, the windows and taskbar change colour together which makes it a bit harder to match a wallpaper I find.

One trick I have seen applied successfully is to edit the wallpaper to add a black strip exactly 1 tasksbar high to the bottom of the image

i've just taken a screenshot and measured it - looks to be 48 pixels.
