Is your account able to view hidden folders?
Also there is a Windows Eight forum, they might be able to help you more over there! :)

If you change the setting in control panel under folder options, you may find something lurking in the folder?

Thats fine, i didnt mean "lurking" as in a malware or virus. I just meant a file or other. Did you find anything?

Try this, but don't delete anything unless you know what it does. BACK UP!

I found another option in Windows Explorer: "Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)". Just in case you need help finding this option:
Open Windows Explorer
If the menu options (File, Edit, View, Tools, Help) don't show, click ALT
Click Tools
Select Folder options...
Click on the View tab
Uncheck: Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)
You can now see and search for hidden, protected operating system files such as Thumbs.db.
