Hi, had made another thread which got delete for no apparent reason...
Had got a new PC (2nd hand) about a week ago and has crashed literally every 30 minutes or so.
Have ran memtest86 for 12 hours with no errors (although one dimm slot on the board doesn't work). Have tried a different graphics card but still same issues only worse. Tried different hardrive with a new install of windows still same persistent crashes.
Have ran Furmark no issues, have also ran Prime 95 the consistent BSOD i'm getting is clock interupt on secondary processor, have also had machine_check_exception and a driver tried to corrupt stack.
Bue screen view shows these files:

ntoskrnl.exe+cca4a
nvlddmkm.sys+9a57a0
dxgmms1.sys+3b085
dxgkrnl.sys+5d134
win32k.sys+19a046
nvlddmkm.sys+4e0bc
ntoskrnl.exe+5024ec
dxgkrnl.sys+34f50
DrvAgent64.SYS+2512

I really need help on this and am grateful for any assistance you guys can give... thanks :)

Not every crash gets as far as BSOD or logging but I grab what I can
ADDITIONAL:
Just crashed in safe mode for the first time... I'm thinking hardware but I want to be sure before I lay out the money on trying to replace parts.

As a quick test have you tried disconnecting everything apart from KB/mouse 1xRAM module hard drive and monitor (If you have on board graphics then also remove the graphic card and enable on board graphics in the BIOS) and if OK start adding one component at a time. Have you checked to see the level of dust inside being a 2nd hand PC

Thanks for the reply. I did begin to only test those things you mentioned but the PC will not boot with just one memory stick (2gbs) (albeit with the graphics card). it's pretty clean inside so not much dust. There are onboard graphics on the MSI 2A9C but I can't track down any updates for the AMIBIOS 6.21 to update the bios that will let me enable them.
After any period of use the heatsink on the cpu is pretty cool to the touch. Having tested cpu temps and keeping an eye with open hardware monitor everything was relatively cool anyway but the lack of heat transferance onto the sink piqued my curiousity.

Have you tried each RAM stick in the different slots and might be worthwhile re-seating the CPU with new TIM

Yeah switched the ram around a few times and still same issues... removed one stick and tried with different configurations. Dimm 3 on the board doesn't register any ram at all so it looks like Dimm 3 isn't fully functional. Maybe it's an indication that the mobo is indeed causing the issues but I don't have enough experience to determine that.

Originally when I posted the dmp files etc. I uninstalled all Nvidia drivers as I was concerned about windows updating files over the top of those and possibly with conflicting/corrupting the ones that were already there. Since updates have now finished I reinstalled the Nvidia latest drivers for the GT210 but still getting the same crashes. Included a new DM logger.
Just had a crash before posting this again. Crashes seem to happen more when the PC is cold although it does crash after extended use but not as much, Bluescreenview shows these files as culprit:
dxgkrnl.sys+5d134
dxgmms1.sys+3b085
nvlddmkm.sys+9a57a0

and these are as latest drivers as I can install.

Hello,

Well relooking at the crash files I did miss something. Sorry for that.

This shows that the crashes are happening on that driver in red. The driver is related to DirectX, lets try making sure you have the latest version: Download DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer from Official Microsoft Download Center

Code:
DEFAULT_BUCKET_ID: VERIFIER_ENABLED_VISTA_MINIDUMP
I'm also seeing this. This shows that a built in windows program called Driver Verifier is turned on. Yet sometimes these things happen even when it's off. So make sure it's off. You can do so by following this tutorial: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/101379-driver-verifier-enable-disable.html

thanks for the reply. It would seem I have the latest installed as DX won't download and the DXerror.log is saying latest is already installed. And Driver Verifier is now off.
Had a crash this morning a little different than the others although it's a 116 error according to windows bluescreenview shows it as Unknown_Module_91919191`91919191

really at this point it doesn't matter how many times I uninstall drivers/reinstall test or whatever. Nothing seems to be fixing the issue. Tested a new HD and it still happens. I stress tested the CPU in Prime95 and it passed all tests, furmark GPU passes... So I'm not fully convinced that the board isn't causing the issues or memory (even though it passed in memtest after 12 hours of passes) or the psu although I can game for quite some time without issue. there is a tv tuner card and a wireless card in the case itself should I remove these on the off chance they might be faulty causing issues and can someone explain why they might be??
So I really don't know what to do or change at this point PSU, GPU, memory or CPU... any advice would be greatly received and appreciated :)

again wiped my spare hard drive and tried installing windows a fresh on it just to see if crashes were different under Win7 ultimate only i got the error 0x80070570 - it's a fresh partition and absoloutly clean install on that drive. google suggests that hardware can cause these issues so maybe again underlining my own current issues... so rebooted back into my old HD with a new crash

blue screenview gives these 2 files
dump_dumpfve.sys+fcb8af42
ntoskrnl.exe+cca4a

I use ccleaner practically everyday to clean out the registry.

Stop using Blue Screenview because it doesn't tell you anything excepts the very basics. Attach the files.

it gives me something to go off I can understand really but yes ok and thank you. That's the lastest dump files. I changed the GPU again to use this for a pro-longed period to see what changes currently nothing and also ran Prime95 again which passes on the tests.
