Internet connection freezes

My internet connection is freezing to all internet applications from time to time to Windows 7 Ultimate Greek What should i do?

I have network controller Realtek PCI GBE Family Controller hardwire.

I'm using Internet Explorer as browser, Firefox, Maxthon for Internet. Mozilla Thunderbird for e-mail and
Bittorrent for torrent program.
