Initial problem was noticed while playing a game of League of Legends. I had played a game previously that ran perfectly, then played another and the game would freeze and unfreeze without crashing. The computer didn't go to sleep, nor did I download or install anything since the start up. I restarted my computer, but the problem persisted outside of games. I ran AVG Free (fully updated, full scan, nothing found) and also downloaded and ran Malwarebytes after some difficulty since it froze/unfroze repeatedly. MWB found and removed 24 files, I restarted comp, reran both scans and go zero findings. The problem persisted, but I haven't gotten any error messages. Restarting my comp also sometimes results in things like networking not loading up properly. I was worried it was a hardware issue, but starting in Safe Mode with Networking runs fine. Reading through your forums I realized you'd prob want me to download/run SF Diag. It was difficult since I tried running it outside of Safe Mode to capture any errors, and it kept freezing while I attempted to do so. Results are posted. Any/all help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

I have been over the troubleshooting steps several times, tried uninstalling a few programs that I recently installed or updated, nothing is helping. My computer is virtually deadlined in Normal Mode. I'm writing from my iPad because my PC is so bad.

Why do you think the HD is not at issue? I'd at least check the SMART data by installing CrystalDiskInfo - Software - Crystal Dew World

Don't say you've been over the steps and then skip the first two. These are critical with an issue as pronounced as you have.

If you're running bloated AVG AV which no one recommends here, then I'd uninstall it including using the special tool required for such bloatware, then try lightweight MSE or Panda free to see the difference. http://www.avg.com/us-en/utilities

Mostly the way you cavalierly disregard these steps tells me you think you know better so I doubt you'll get it fixed without a change of attitude. If not I would take it to a shop.

The absolute best way to approach this is to use it as the opportunity to do the one great http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/219487-clean-reinstall-factory-oem-windows-7-a.html#post1839164 (same for retail) following the steps which compile everything that works best in tens of thousands of installs we've helped with here, then capture a backup image so you never have to do it again.

If it were a HD issue, starting in Safe Mode still utilizes the HD. The issue isn't present in Safe Mode, which is why I made the statement. I'll check it though. As far as the RAM test, I don't have the required items to check it, if I did, I would. Your post comes off as quite rude considering I went through a lot of the steps and posted a SF Diag that you haven't addressed at all. I appreciate the help from this forum, but you seem completely disinterested in helping and make rude statements about my attitude when all im attempting is to work with you.

What do you need to test your RAM? A CD?

I'd also install, decline trial, update and run a full scan with SUPERAntiSpyware - Downloads. While it's running check Control Panel>Programs and Features to see if anything you didn't install is there and uninstall it. Then check your Browser Add-On's to make sure nothing has lodged there except Flash, a Reader and possibly Silverlight.

I asked someone to read your SFDiag.

I ran Intel's HD Diagnostic per the Troubleshooting page. It says my firmware is up to date with the latest firmware of that release of the Diagnostic Tool. Ran a full Diagnostic Scan and found no errors. Ran the Optimizer and it says my drive is optimized. I cannot change ports or SATA cables because it's a laptop. Not sure if there's anything I missed there, but I'm open to try if there is. I went out to the store and got some blank CDs so I can run the Memtest.

Did you try running MSE or Panda free in place of the AVG bloatware which often causes problems like this? I asked you about this earlier and even gave you the special tool required to uninstall grossly bloated AV's like AVG. But you didn't reply.

Is pointing this out to you "rude?"

Well, I will not ask you to open a laptop, coz it may violet the warranty.

But you may enable Driver Verifier to monitor the drivers.
Run Driver Verifier for 24 hours or the occurrence of the next crash, whichever is earlier.

   Information
Why Driver Verifier:
It puts a stress on the drivers, ans so it makes the unstable drivers crash. Hopefully the driver that crashes is recorded in the memory dump.

How Can we know that DV is enabled:
It will make the system bit of slow, laggy.

   Warning
Before enabling DV, make it sure that you have earlier System restore points made in your computer. You can check it easily by using CCleaner looking at Tools > System Restore.

If there is no points, make a System Restore Point manually before enabling DV.

   Tip

Let us know the results, with the subsequent crash dumps, if any.

Yeah, your post epitomizes the definition of rude. I've been working through the steps and posting updates. Your comment serves no purpose except to provoke an argument. I used the removal tool and downloaded MSE but I couldn't install MSE in Safe Mode, and haven't yet tried to install in Normal Mode because I'm running the MemTest from the boot disk. Again I appreciate the help. Can we please de-escalate?

You may not talk that way to me or anyone else here ever. We are providing you with hundreds of dollars of free support. If you want to act in any way except appreciative then take it to a shop and actually pay that amount.

It is a small price to ask that you complete all steps especially when we will help you get them done, and we will stick with the case until it is resolved no matter what it takes - as we do dozens of times per day, proven in tens of thousands of cases which have made this the top tech forums in web history.

You can run the memtest overnight to really stress RAM. Reboot to install MSE now and complete the other steps while testing performance.

If you are running memtest86+, complete 8 consecutive passes. Memtest86 and memtest86+ are different, and memtest86 is an inferior tool.

You need to do the RAM test, because it can cause any sort of issue there.

If it found errors, you need to replace the RAM.

If no error is found, continue with other things including driver verifier.

I don't understand your level of aggression. I'm sorry I pointed out that I perceived your response to be rude. I am not being disrespectful to you, I'm merely trying to work with you, and I appreciate your guidance. I'm feeling aggression in every one of your posts. Can we please PLEASE de-escalate. I don't want to negatively impact your day or your mood, as I realize this is assistance you are providing out of compassion. Please understand I am in no way trying to disrespect you with this post, I am merely trying to get us back to a place where we can work together. I have cancelled the MemTest, uninstalled AVG using the tool, and installed MSE, however the update is failing with an error code 0x80004004 "The definition updates couldn't be installed. Please try again later." I tried in both normal mode and went back to safe mode with networking. My internet connection is working as I was able to load web pages in safe mode, but the MSE update won't install.

In re-reading the thread I can see I might have misused the term "attitude" to express what I felt to be a lack of thoroughness. What I wanted to stress is that there can be no skipped steps, or anything else that backtracks from utter thoroughness to do the necessary troubleshooting. I should have made it clear that I was here to help you get the steps done so that skipping any is unnecessary.

Something just popped up, not sure if it's from the initial cause or something I've done since. This is the first time I've seen this or any other error message pop up.

wermgr.exe Application Error
The instruction at 0x77365bce referenced memory at 0x025c90dc. The memory could not be written.

Thank you sir, and I'm really sorry we got off on the wrong foot. I apologize for coming off as cavalier about it all. Where should I pick up from?

Type services.msc in Start Search box to open Services. Is Windows Error Reporting Service running? Set to Automatic.

It can be damaged by running a Registry Cleaner or in the malware removal process. Have you used a Registry Cleaner, all of which are death to Win7 except CCleaner? Try running http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html again.

There is also a fix that worked here: Solved: wermgr.exe / werfault.exe Application Error - Tech Support Guy. Note that disabling the Error Message service should only be a troubleshooting step to see if error and issues goes away. There still needs to be an underlying fix, one to try is found in the link in thread.

I think testing the RAM overnight to stress if you have not done that yet it is a good idea.
