how to remove blue color rectangle in areas of selection to the folder

I would like to know how to remove the blue selection effect in windows 7 folders. freezes the old pcs and netbooks when objects are selected in folders.

Try this, see if it helps you:

Start> In search box type Advanced system settings> Enter> Advanced tab> Under Performance click on Settings> Visual Effects tab> Click the radio button to the left of Custom> Uncheck Show translucent selection rectangle> Apply and OK your way out
