you need program windows style builder

open aero.mssstyles with wsb
go to
Styles > ControlPanelStyle > Tasklink > TextColor : Color


I tried to change it, that's it.

I will try it once my HDD arrives and I install Windows 7. Although I couldnt understand anything from "Complete theme building guide". Theres just headlines and thats it.

yes, headlines for windows style builder, unfortunately, no trial version of this program is available.

I modified aero style, changed color to red and uploaded it here if it's ok with forum rules.

If you are willing to take a risk, got backup, applied theme patcher and know what you are
doing, just extract it to C:\Windows\Resources\Themes and apply.
