Do you have an account at the site there? If so you are automatically being logged in or haven't been logged out yet. The price at ChinaBuye being lower is no surprise there since that's a Chinese vendor to begin with just like Fasttech or smokstore.us is. It's also a brand new out since that was the first eye ball on it like the ECig V9 that is showing "Restocking (?)" at Fasttech.

Yet the Kraigen Atlantis 8ml replacement tank mod wasn't due until Jan 5th and will be in tomorrow from Kidney Puncher. The MVP 20W may be in as well if not saturday now the floods of holiday mail is over.

That link works ok! There's four versions of that mod you know in case you are still looking for a 30w or 50w model.

The prices on each are still right there however in the $57.01 for the 30w, $60.02 for the 50w, $65.03 for the 100w, and then $69.04 for the 150w. The problem is there not knowing where it will be coming from since it's not listed in either the US or German warehouse. Likely they order direct from the factory like everything else lately.

Lately I've been hearing about that other new tank from some people that might be worth a look. The problem now however is that you can find it on EBay and wholesale sites but not at any regular vendor. That one is rated 10w-55w so I will have that covered easy enough! :D

I figured that when the link won't work again when tried. When remembering something else was seeing a good price at ChinaBuye lately from seeing the daily deals at these other sites I took note of the coupon code when going back and it was still right there on the home page. How much longer the 10% off remains will be another story however since a few places have extended sales into the middle of the month due to the new stuff only just coming out.

So my findings so far on the 2 tanks -

The Atlantis has never leaked, the Sub Tank however seems to leak rather randomly from the seal at the bottom. It's not constant and can sometimes be hours without leaking but it has certainly happened a few times. The Glass part of the tank spins freely even when you have done the tank up as tight as possible, I guess that is normal and part of the design.
I had contact issues with the Sub Tank from day 1. It took a fair bit of adjusting of the 510 screw inside my IPV V2 before I could get the thing to fire. And for some strange reason if you tighten the Sub Tank down as far as I would with the Atlantis you get a "low res" message on the IPV V2. It's not a major issue but means you cannot tighten the tank down fully to meet the top of the IPV V2. It leaves a slight gap of maybe 1/32", any more and it won't fire.

So that's the bad points out of the way.

Flavor wise, I would say it might give a little more flavor than the Atlantis. It's a pretty close call between the 2 but I am very happy with the flavor on the Sub Tank.
Vapor wise, I would say the Atlantis gives a little more but again a very close call and it's excellent on both tanks.

The Sub Tank is a very big tank no doubt about that, I don't think it looks stupid on my IPV V2 but it's borderline! It is however fantastic to have a large capacity tank again as I was getting annoyed constantly refilling the Atlantis (of course that problem can be cured by adding this - Aspire Atlantis 7ml Extension Kit which I might do at some point).

To be quite honest I don't think I could recommend one over the other really. I am very happy to own both. I will be using them both as much as each other.

I am planning on trying out the rebuildable part over the weekend and will let you know what it's like and how the flavor and vapor is with 2 coils.

Edit: Couldn't resist so the RBA is fitted. Giving out some great flavor and no dry hit's even at 50W.

Nice review Paul. Maybe try the 22 to 25 adapter with it for a better fit? It looks really good in your pick, and not as big as I thought. Did you get some wire yet, or are you going to use just the coils that came with it for now?

As far as the Atlantis, are the 1 ohm coils available yet?.

I'm still chugging the Nautilus, it's great on the new mod. I vary between 11-16watts now and it's kicking more flavor than it did on the zmax

I suppose I could use the adapter yes.

Just using the pre made coils for now Doug to see what it's like really.

I have not seen any other coils for the Atlantis yet other than the 0.5s.

I think will be staying with the Aspire tanks just the same while a little curious about the Horizon line up and their new Collector's Edition Scion Bottom Quad Core Atomizer 3ml tank. That's a vertical set up seeing each coil wrapped with Japanese cotton and one above the other offset being two being towards one side and the other pair close to the opposite just in a vertical tube. That runs 10w-55w according to the infomation I found so far and has four coils available for it. 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, and 0.8ohm.

The Aerotanks here a little leaking problem as well as need to see the air controller turned just to the one and only correct sport to get anything out of those. I went with both the Mini and Mega tanks only to find they can be a hassle at times! As for the replacements for the Atlantis tanks in just a few hours when the Vape Mail arrives all four will see new tank sections go one two being the 8ml not 7ml Kraigen Atlantis replacement tanks plus two being the stainless steel mesh covering glass replacements for the ZNA 50 and DovPo E-LVT tanks since those will be carried while the other three being the Smok BEC Pro, ECig V9, and Luxyoun 150w wood and stainless mod(just got order being processed email from ChinaBuye) will stay at home.

Once the other mods show up besides like grabbing a 5th Atlantis if not the Scion I might look at the 7ml extension for the 5ml and maybe 6th tank down the line. With the increased capacity swapping over to another flavor usually means having an extra tank or two like I so far have the 5 Nautilius tanks while I have nearly two dozen Smok Tumblers for the 20 some VW batteries being the eGo-V V3s(two died had 5), V4s(ordered a second set of four to make 8 total), and the pair of 2000mah Smok Aro Winders plus what had been on the MVP 2.0 and VTR as well as the Vamo V5 and pair of Smok ACES. Quite a line up! Aspire Atlantis 7ml replacement tank - ZULUVAPE

Often the problem most commonly seen with any tank/AFC(Air Flow Controller) deal is that some ejuice will always seem to sweat out following a refill. Even when simply removing and putting a tank back on I find with the Nautilus even a quick wipe with a napkin or paper towel as well as tapping the air holes will take care of any ejuice that seeps out. That's simply excess ejuice left behind when the coil(s) cool after finished with the battery or mod itself for the time being or going to refill or change flavors. The Nautilus on the Smok Guardian E-Pipe II is now showing signs of a worn coil after all this time? I give that a Grade A review!

Speaking of extra mods I almost forgot to mention the "Brand New" iStick? ANOTHER ONE! That's right! Try a new 30w iStick after they came out with the 10w! The blogger cautions rushing into this since Eleaf may be planning another 50w version?!:rolleyes: Eleaf iStick 30 Watt - $39.99 | Best Vape Deals

Have another update! When going to browse 3FVape a bit where the Luxyoun mod was ordered another sub ohm tank came up! When Dude had asked about the Atlantis having a Mini tank version apparently they do! But this could also be clone as well. Atlantis Style 510 Clearomizer - Black + Silver, Glass + Stainless Steel, 5.0ml, 0.5 ohm - 3FVape

Have another update! When going to browse 3FVape a bit where the Luxyoun mod was ordered another sub ohm tank came up! Atlantis Style 510 Clearomizer - Black + Silver, Glass + Stainless Steel, 5.0ml, 0.5 ohm - 3FVape

That looks good, I think it is a clone but the 5ml is awesome. How long does their shipping take?

I think Hawk might be getting his tanks mixed up Doug. Either that or I am lol. But IIRC you asked about a mini version of the Sub Tank.
The Atlantis style tank in Hawks post could not really be classed as a "mini" Atlantis seeing as the original is 2ml and the one in the link is 5ml :). It does look pretty good though and very cheap, I wander if the Authentic Atlantis coils fit it or if you have to buy special ones. I am guessing the Authentic ones will.

Yes I did ask about a mini kanger. I looked at the specs, it is close, but not the same. The atlantis is 22mm diameter, the 5ml clone is 23.5 mm

I figured they would be close to identical in diameter. Just a taller tank and inner pipe. Could be a nice cheap buy. But it doesn't look like it comes with any coils at all so that would need to be budgeted in.

I didn't run into anything that resembled a Mini Kanger at all since that just came out. The other is an "Atlantis Style" Mini clearomizer tank which would fall under clone since Aspire hasn't made anything but the 2ml Atlantis for sub ohming so far.

Now for "The KRAIGEN Atlantis 8ml tank" I got the pair in and assembled. Due to how it is constructed not just the glass but also seeing a stainless collar at the bottom as well as the top where you swap over the drip tip off the original that includes two holes with a phillips type screw in each. With a good size needle bottle or filling syringe you simply pop one of those out not needing to remove the second as a vent to fill and let her rip!

The original Atlantis is center with The Kraigen to the right and the hollowed Stainless mesh replacement to the left. Both Kraigens and the two Stainless replacements still 2ml for those were put on and no leaks! One is sitting on top the BEC Pro filled from a 10ml needle bottle with a Spearmint Menthol flavor Artic Ice with the other 8ml sees a Dark Roast Coffee flavor I found while looking around for a black unlightened, unsweetened coffee flavor with some taste to it.

The clone Mini tank was found when browsing 3FVape when seeing what they had for tanks since just about all of the tanks are made there to begin with! I kind of wish I had seen the tank while placing the order for the mod since I could grabbed one of each since there are two the other being light black +silver. Atlantis Style 510 Clearomizer - Light Black + Silver, Glass + Stainless Steel, 5.0ml, 0.5 ohm - 3FVape

I'm not that worried however since I was pondering on both the Scion whether to bother with any of those or picking up another pair of Atlantis tanks once the other two mods are in. The Scion might see replacement coils at first and then later due to the limited release not see any at all. Most likely I will probably for the 7ml extender over The Kraigen while those fit like gems on the two tanks.

I suspect the 5ml clone uses Atlantis coils as well since there are no replacements listed for even the Alantis while they carry a lot of Kanger just not for the Sub Ohm tank quite yet, protank and others. They do carry Innokin coils as well as BVC and BDC Aspire coils just none listed for the Atlantis style generic tank and where the caution about not finding any is generally why I tend to skip past any clones to start with. The 5ml looks nice and the tank would probably work like a champ but that's still a kind of 50/50 bet.

I didn't run into anything that resembled a Mini Kanger at all since that just came out. The other is an "Atlantis Style" Mini clearomizer tank which would fall under clone since Aspire hasn't made anything but the 5ml Atlantis for sub ohming so far.

Again. The clone cannot be classed as a "mini", it is bigger than the original. And Aspire have not made a 5ml Atlantis lol.

You don't think I already know that? I have four of them sitting here. And one of the Kraigen replacements managed to leak after being filled the first time. That made the day! :( So far not a drop out of the other or with a 50% the second time around.

I went to grab a vape from the one it was on and saw an almost empty tank sitting on it! Was able to save about 2ml off the bottom and there was a bit more in the battery hole the ZNA 50 was sitting over telling me it leaked at the base of the tank not from the coil being loose. I then flipped the glass portion 180 an then stuck that back in once it was cleaned up.

At both end on those the glass is pressed into the washer type seal and apparently the bottom didn't act the way it should have. But it looks like that was a fluke compared to the Kanger Aerotank Minis and Mega tank where all three leak if left sitting for too long! It reminds me only too much of the old DCT leakers I ended up tossing! But I can't tighten it any more then it is now and that solved the leak.

Firstly unlucky on the leakage Hawk. Not good!

Then on to what I highlighted in red.

You may or may not have known it, but what you typed was wrong and for the purposes of any people reading this thread for info I thought it was worth pointing out.

To clarify, you said the clone was a mini. It is NOT. It is bigger than the original. You then said that Aspire hasn't made anything but the 5ml Atlantis for sub ohming so far. That is wrong. The Aspire Atlantis is 2ml not 5.

Edited for typo sorry.

As far as what you marked in red that was in response to your comment before that. I put the 5ml Altantis when I was supposed to have said the 5ml Nautilus instead. "The other is an "Atlantis Style" tank that has a larger capacity but slightly smaller in size(width, height) clearomizer type tank which would falls under clone since Aspire hasn't made anything like the 2ml Nautilus Mini for sub ohming so far."

That's the way it should have been worded. But I was making the comparison of the 5ml clone to the size of both the 7ml extension you had pointed to as well as The Kraigen Atlantis 8ml replacement tank mentioned earlier.

The original Atlantis by Aspire is a 2ml capacity tank.

"You don't think I already know that? I have four of them sitting here." was the response to the comment you made. I also knew I would be going back once to edit the post there when the other vendor's site was found to be down for maintenance when going to mention the two flavors by two different vendors I was now trying out in the Kraigens at the higher wattage then those two had ever seen before. The problem explaining why one leaked was the need to see the glass portion pressed in tighter at the bottom since that has to squeeze in on the washer inside the bottom collar on the Kraigen to form the seal.

The Artic Ice and Avalanche flavors not mentioned were actually the very first two menthol flavors Disk4mat started out with when his eliquids business was first started up in March 2013. We had been chatting on one of the social networks back in the Fall of '12 while he was quitting a 4 pack a day habit and I was just hearing about ecigs from him.

Now as for Mini tanks Kanger has a number of them but for the Protank, Aerotank, Unitank but nothing for sub ohming. The sub ohm tanks require a heavier type of coil in order to handle the higher temps as well as the watts as you see with the Atlantis there. An RDA can be a bit smaller in size there however since you are building your own coils not buying something with them already premade ahead of time.

That was a first time there! They seem to move faster then Fasttech however! I ended up ordering there since it wasn't even turning up a focalecig at first until you posted the link there for it.

While most places are showing just under $70 for the 150w version you should see what GearBest wants for the 50w version of the same mod there! Try $82.41 onsale?! LUXYOUN UNIK Variable Wattage 7 - 50W E-Cigarette Box Mod-82.41 and Free Shipping| GearBest.com

All four models suddenly appeared at Fasttech as well. With the orders there one took almost a month while the Smok BEC Pro was ordered separately came in 11 days. The Vamo Fire and four eGo batteries came registered mail from FT in 16 days. It was just about three weeks when the DovPo E-LVT came in on the , and for an Amazon of all places order of an 8 pack of 18350s I later find those were being shipped in from China! try 11/28 until 12/29!

I suspect things will ship faster now however since all the Holiday Blues are over and things will be getting back to the norm! But you still have to expect close to two weeks when ordering overseas allowing time for things to change hands from China Post or Singapore to USPS.

Okay, thanks. I'm one that doesn't like long waits. I was impressed with FC, but that was ships from the US. I just filled my tank with some Rasta Juice. It's been steeping almost 2 months I think, and man it's good :D

Two months? The vendor I order from is generally presteeped and ready to vape for the most part. The ejuice only gets darker over time. I would say "Well Steeped" for several here now that I have to play catch up on! "stop in for a free bottle or two! I have three boxes full of well steeped..."!:roflmao:

Gee now where would I get the idea there was any Aspire Atlantis replacement tank 5ml tank from?
