Gadgets not launching in build 7022

I just downloaded build 7022 and now i cant launch gadgets?? I wanted to add a new clock but i cant launch the program. Any one else see this as well??

Did you get the new build from the Msoft site? Because the 7000 has enough bugs to sink a ship.

There is no Build 7022 out yet. The latest Build out at this moment is 7000.

Exaggerating a little lol! I have 1 or 2 bugs which is to be expected in a Beta, but I'm sure your thinking of Vista :D

I would have to agree all the way on this...I have ran bug free since i upgraded my pc..Some with bugs i am sure it has to do with there PC at some point..

The Explorer used in Windows 7 is a first rate disaster. No I'am not exagerating one bit. Known bugs from the last version of Explorer are also in the new one that came with Windows 7. There is no doubt about this fact. The problem is outlined here.

I have this exact problem with the new browser. This problem was also present in the old version and has yet to be fixed in the new version of Explorer. Just because you don't have this problem does not mean others don't OK?

Do you Einstien's really think that a beta OP system will be bug free for everyone? LOL you have to be joking!

not bug free , no bsod but windows explorer stopped on me a couple of times. dont and wont use internet explorer, will stick to firefox for the immediate future. those are the only issues on four machines here to date. no not bug free for everyone, but that is what the beta periods are for.

Finally someone who see's the reality of the situation. I agree 100 percent. And yes Explorer also locks up all the time for no reason at all. I've seen many others with the same complaint. It's buggy as hell no doubt about it. ;)

Although I'am a bit tired of seeing others insist this OP system is bug free just because they havn't found any bugs yet. The entire idea is to test this OP system on as many system as possible to find all the bugs before the final release. Everything is going according to plan and it will take some time to iron out all the bugs.

I believe you need to have messenger signed in for that site to work. Works for me everytime. It also describes the problem I'am having exactly to the T.

ultimately to be successful financially, businessand their multiple licensing models have to migrate to windows 7 and business moves slowly, and with caution. again ultimately, it wont be microsoft sitting in on IT and operations departments sessions, but the the guys on the firing lines will be the IT department heads and like consultants. It has to be right and has to be right the first time, or heads will be rolling. so yeah, we are enthusiastic, but cautiously so. the whole point of this period is to find the bugs, fix what can be fixed, and isolate and clearly documument what cannot. then we can all move forward knowing that for the vast majority of deployments, we have a reasonable expectation of result in advance. it is not from commentary here and elsewhere at a drop the disk in and go stage, issues are being resolved and some still remain, even to the technically savvy. as they said, don't use it on a system that is mission critical.

if in your case and for anyone else, explorer lock ups are occurring frequently, please, please share that information using the feedback system.

Of course the beta isn't bug free. It's a beta. Some people have just been lucky enough not encounter (or notice ;)) some of the bugs that are indeed there. Windows Explorer does have quite a few issues.

My personal favourite bug is having to kill the Windows Error Reporting tool process that consistently hangs.... :p

However, my ship is still afloat :geek:
