Computer crashing ocasionally with blue screen, CPU hogging

So lately my CPU has been constantly at 70%-90% because of "System Idle Process" and the computer aswell began to crash with a blue screen and shutting down.
I would appreciate any help, thanks

smss.exe Windows process - What is it? says path not available ....

Note: The smss.exe file is located in the folder C:\Windows\System32. In other cases, smss.exe is a virus, spyware, trojan or worm!

So I tried to check the path in your system, but it says .....

So the risk remains there.

Scan the system for possible virus infection with the following programs.

• Anti-rootkit utility TDSSKiller (click on the first plus sign on the resulting page to get it)
• Windows Defender Offline

Let us know the results. Further troubleshooting might be needed depending on it.
