Hard drive filling up with nothing

Over the last little while I've noticed my hard drive appears to be filling up with absolutely ****ing nothing, and today I just noticed the worse case of it. I had 317 GB remaining today, then a few hours later after installing ****ing nothing suddenly 17 GB IS GONE. I now have 300 GB remaining. I downloaded 3 programs to make webms, two of which I uninstalled cause they were bad and the one I kept is only 25 MB. SO WHERE THE HELL DID THE 17 GB GO?? I looked through all my program folders and such a saw nothing new, let alone anything new that's 17 GB. I did a virus scan with Avast and nothing popped up. If I go to my C drive and highlight all my files (including hidden files) the total size comes to 525 GB, but when I right click my Local Disk, the total size of my used space is 634 GB (fun fact, since typing this and performing an error checking scan, another 3 GB is gone). What the **** is going on? Where the hell is this invisible 109 GB??

Ok, that did seem to be the issue. I'm up to 381 GB now with only 15 GB of invisible stuff. Downloaded WizTree to check some things out and I see some files that are 8 GB and 5 GB called pagefile.sys and hiberfil.sys and they're just in the C drive not in any particular folder with a few other files. Are they needed or can they be deleted?
Edit: Nevermind I noticed two large iso files for a game that got duplicated some how and upon deleting those I'm down to 4 GB of invisible stuff so I'm all good now. Thanks for the help.
