Any Method to Kill an Individual IE11 Task Without Killing Them All?

I regularly have multiple tab open in the IE11 address bar, and quite often I'm downloading something. Once a week or so I'll get a new tab or a new window telling me that my ISP has detected multiple viruses or spyware on my computer. There is not - I regularly clean it with Malwarebytes, ESET online scanner, JRT and ADWCleaner.

When I get those screens, I do not seem to be able to close the tab or window. And in taskmgr I see the application 'WARNING! YOUR COMPUTER..., etc' using up memory better allocated to downloads. I have found that if I right click on the application, and select end task, it will eventually close all my IE11 windows and tabs, killing any in-process downloads.

I just tried changing taskmgr to display PID, then opened an administrative command prompt and typed tasklist, followed by Taskkill /PID (the PID number) /F. That also killed every IE11 windows and tab, including a download that had already been running for an hour.

Is there any way to end those annoying windows without ending my downloads?

It could be the download causing the problem.
What are you downloading and from where?
What method are you using for the downloads?

Are you still using a counterfeit Windows 7?

You also have a counterfeit installation of Windows 7.

You have a OEM/SLP on a after market retail Gigabyte motherboard.

You need a Clean Install of Microsoft Office and Windows 7 using new legal COA key for both.

From your log.

It's not the downloads - they are usually concert footage of rock or jazz bands. Sometimes they are in multipart rar files. Invariably they're using a hoster like rapidgator or datafile or keep2share. If I kill all IE tasks I can download whatever file it is quite easily.

You're mixing apples and oranges - that was clearly a previous post about my father's homemade tower - he has simply scrapped it, bought a new Windows 8.1 and had me transfer the needed stuff off his old HDD. This is my personal laptop.

From you first post their is no way for me to know what computer you are using.

Now looking at your file sharing sites.

rapidgator or datafile or keep2share

I believe they could be causing problems.
File sharing sites (P2P, torrents) ect will cause nothing but problems and infections in my opinion.
