Frequent gaming related BSOD

Hi, guys.

I am at my wits' end and really hoping you can help. The issue happens mostly when gaming. I think the first random crash happened a few months after getting it (it's almost two years old now,) but I couldn't diagnose and it wouldn't happen often so I never really bothered. Then it started happening more. Very rarely it will happen when I'm just browsing or stuff like that, but generally when gaming.

The game in question is GW2 and no other game has crashed my PC as much as this one. It happened around 7 times in the span of a few hours last night. It happens both in intense maps (lots of people, action, etc going on), but also when I'm in a city staring at a wall. I can run the game on low to medium settings at 30 fps, but going low or none on everything doesn't seem to help. Yet I know I should be able to run it fine.

Memtest came back clear. I'm monitoring the temps as well and they're fine (the most I've seen was my CPU at ~75C and that should be okay for a CPU intensive game; GPU doesn't go over 45.) I ran Windows driver verifier and actually couldn't get it to crash while it was on. Gave up after a few hours and, needless to say, it crashed 15 min later. I can try that again if needed.

There are two errors that are usually reported:

• ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x4ADB3C)
  Bugcheck code: 0x124 (0x0, 0xFFFFFA80085098F8, 0x0, 0x0)
  Error: WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR
  
• ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x75BC0)
  Bugcheck code: 0x101 (0x31, 0x0, 0xFFFFF88002F65180, 0x2)
  Error: CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT

It's pointing to faulty hardware, but I need help figuring out what exactly. I'd rather replace a single component than buy a new PC. The problem is, I don't have any spare parts that I could swap in and check that way.

Not sure if anyone has any idea what might be the issue, but I'll update just in case.

I took out the original RAM stick last night (the second one was bought a few months ago) and the game ran for about 4 hours. Sadly, it crashed half an hour ago. I also ran HD Tune Pro and it didn't find anything on the HDD. I downloaded the WD Lifeguard since my HDD is a WD one and plan on running that later today.

I guess the CPU temp really depend on which CPU.

Mine would be AMD Phenom II x6 1055T (125W) 1065T 1075T 1090T 1100T -> 62'C.

Make sure you are not above a certain threshpoint with your CPU temp.

Thanks for the tip. I googled a bit and it seems that 75C might be the upper safe limit. Tho my source is random forums, can't find anything official. It also says that Speed Fan (which is what I'm using) can't detect it properly on my board. They recommend GPU-Z so I'll try that.

To be honest, I'm a total noob when it comes to taking stuff apart (unless it's RAM, lol) so the thermal paste was replaced once when I took it to the shop. That was around Sept last year.

Edit: as the name says, that program only monitors the GPU, lol. It's at 53C now, with Chrome, Spotify, Skype and some diagnostics tools open. Will look for a good CPU tool.

It just crashed (restarted) even though I wasn't playing. That hasn't happened in a long time. Gave me the WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR. I haven't put in the original RAM stick yet either.

Edit: I left the second stick in its second slot so I'll put it into the first now to see if it helps.
