So it's a long story.
I hadn't had Microsoft Net Framework on, so I turned it on.
Then my PC randomly crashed.
Tried to reboot but it got stuck in the crash then reboot circle.
I tried my hardest to fix it but I couldn't find anything to fix it so I decided to just,
reinstall windows.
I made a bootable usb windows install which worked last time I had to reinstall windows.
This time I load the usb up and it goes to the language settings, then it has 2 modes.
Custom or upgrade.
Upgrade has the whole "you've loaded windows with the installation disk blahblah"
Which doesn't work cause I've tried to fix that to.
So I'm forced to do custom, which only show Disk 0 (Which is my Usb)
I choose browse so i can see what disks I have and I have 3.
C: (Usb)
X: (Don't know what this one is)
and The cd drive.
The "X" drive only has 30 free mbs of space, even though my HDD has 500 Gigs.
TL:DR Hard Drive doesn't show up.
Please, someone help as this is very annoying.

I don't see why the Installation drive wouldn't see a blank HDD. The 30mb drive presumably is the installation's RAM drive. I would try a different USB boot stick to see if the drive appears. Best would be to use a utility drive such as Partition Wizard or Parted Magic that could test the HDD. But any Linux live CD would do.

1. Pull out your USB and other USB storage devices from your PC. Just boot. At the end of BIOS run what message do you get - if at all you get one.. Post it.

2. Tell us how you prepared the bootable USB for installing Windows.

Change your SATA Operation Mode in BIOS to AHCI. If you can't see AHCI, tell us what options there are, and what it is at the moment.

Or get AHCI/RAID Pre-Install drivers from your motherboard CD or support website and put them on a CD/USB. Load those drivers when you get to that screen.

Fill in your System Specs too please, http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/180324-system-info-see-your-system-specs.html

I didn't try any of the steps, I wasn't on my pc at all for the past week really.
I literally came back to my PC after it being off for a day or 2 and I booted into Asus EZ Flash and it detected all my HDDs, for some odd reason Windows is on my D Drive not my C.
I'm not trying to be rude but it's summer and I do shit often.

Why are you using Asus Easy Flash? Are you trying to update the BIOS?

The drives will often show different letters in the Boot mode.

Please tell us exactly what you are trying to do now .

I went to Asus EZ Flash, because I've used it before and I remember it showing all my files, ETC.
So I was thinking maybe the installation didn't show my drives for some odd reason, and it did.
And Layback if you read one of my other posts you would have seen I've already fixed my HDD problem, I'm not ignoring the steps to be an asshole I just don't need to try them because that issue has already been fixed.

Well I must of misunderstood something. Your hard drive problem is fixed and yet you see all your files using Asus EZ Flash which is only used to update bios.

I'm lost so I will go back to watching.

I'm not seeing what you don't understand.
You can see literally every file on your PC from Asus EZ Flash.
I went on asus ez flash a couple days ago and it didn't show anything it said something like "No drivers detected" or some shit like that, now it shows all my Hard Drives.
So what don't you understand?

It's nice that you can see your files in EasyFlash, a utility that's only meant to flash the BIOS. But what does that have to do with repairing or reinstalling your Win7?

You need to either follow the steps for Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Start which tries everything possible to get Win7 to start.

Or you need to Troubleshoot Windows 7 Installation Failures - Windows 7 Help Forums

When you report back results of those steps then we will know better how to help you.

The whole reason I made this thread was because my HDD wasn't located in the Windows Installation , so I couldn't reinstall it.

Is it located there now?

Yeah but I really couldn't fix the /boot/bcd error so I've decided to change windows 7 to 8.1, so I'm currently installing it so I'll update you guys once it finishes.
