Toshiba Satellite L700-T11B Drivers

I am doing a fresh install of Windows 7 for my friend's laptop, Toshiba Satellite L700-T11B she told me she got it in China. I cannot for the life of me find any driver support online for this model,

Windows 7 took care of most drivers itself but 3 remained still:

Downloaded Intel Driver Update Utility to see if it would recognize anything, no luck.

SM Bus Controller Driver - Thinking this was a chipset, Piriform Speccy (Program that reveals system specs) says Southbridge Model "HM65" so I google a driver for that and 1st google link is an Intel driver download - installed and it went away in device manager.

Others are
Ethernet Controller
Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller

Not throwing a yellow triangle in device manager because windows installed a generic, but would also like the driver for the touchpad for 2-finger scrolling.

Let me know if this sounds like the incorrect solution for the SM Bus as well because I usually just download right off the manufacturer support page, but could not in this instance.

Thanks.

Hello turtlebain mate can you send me a pic of the PART NO sticker on the bottom of the machine? or quote it and if you don't find the sticker or know the number use this to find it.

Using HW Info

PART A:

You can test the volts onthe PSU with HW Info HWiNFO,HWiNFO32/64 - Download <download the right bit version and close the right hand window select Sensorsand scroll down to the power section where you will see what the volts aredoing see my pic. In my pic the section (Nuvoton)with VBATT is a dead give away you are in the section for the rail voltages. There are other section titles and one that pops up often is ITE

Now the voltage on thedifferent rails have to be within 5% =+/- of what is required or the machinewill not work properly if at all.

See this for the railvoltage info

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/power-supply-specifications-atx-reference,3061.html (Section 2.)

The original right handwindow shows the machine running and is handy for that but for looking at thecomponents in some detail close it and use the main left hand side panel

FOR OTHER COMPONENTS

PART B:

Open each small squarewith + in it on the section the components are in and then click on theindividual component/s (it willhighlight in blue) - in the right hand side will appear all sorts of detailsincluding brands speeds and other essential info that particular device. Seepic for example.
Use PART B: and open as in my pic - the PART NO pic is of my old Toshy and it is essential for getting any support for a particular Toshiba machine because it is linked to where it was made and was made for.

Also need to find out if there are any US laptops that share parts with this one so I can find a screen replacement. I foolishly told her I would buy the parts and fix it for her for Christmas.

Sorry late reply mate but see the others have been looking out for you now you can see this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9dPU5GLez4

and I think this is fairly close to what you are looking for Toshiba Satellite L655 L655D L650 L650D disassembly if not go to that site and pick a different model as long as the number is close Disassemble, repair, upgrade Toshiba laptop yourself. the inmportant thing is that PART NO I mentioned as it again is where the product was either made or made for;)

PS Meant to mention be very careful undoing the ribbon cables they are quite fragile and have a special clip lock system see the ain irisvista site for newbies it will show you.

Ok mate just an afterthought as I nearly broke the first Toshiba I took apart by trying to just pull those cables out without releasing the white tabs either side.

On the wagon unfortunately but I will have a fizzy lemon for you.
