Im running out of free space on my C.
I have tried everything here http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/129976-hard-disk-space-free-up-recover.html but i still only have 15gb of free space.

When i scan my C with WinDir i can see that there are 2 folders under "Windows" that takes up all the space:
winsxs and System32 and i know i should not touch the winsxs folder.

So then System32 i must be able to clean up. 88% of the used space on that folder are stored under Driverstore-Filerepository. Its 9.32 GB and 638 items, here is a screen of the first chunk of files

I need some help here on what i can remove.
like i said, this is just the first chunk of files from this folder, maybe you can tell me what i should look for or maybe i can sort the list from old to new files?

I appreciate all the help i can get from you guys :)

I would not, under any circumstances, delete or modify anything in the Windows folders.

Unless I felt like doing a reinstall when my system subsequently got borked because of it.

Couple of quick fixes.
Turn off Hibernate, clear all but last restore point and reduce its size, THEN run the MS diskcleanup.
copy docs/pics to an external device (USB/CD)
And as Melonhead said LEAVE those folders alone.

The system32 folder is your system. You mess with it, your system is toast. Just make C bigger.

Go ahead and report back on how you are doing - but don't let anybody know that I told you so. We may learn something.

.exe files execute something - normally a program or a subroutine (e.g. the famous svchost.exe). They are not specific to program installations.
