Custom Themes, Icons and Start Buttons.

Nice themes everyone! Here's mine, a compilation of several different pics I've found online and wherevs. Its called Pink and Blue, and as you might guess, consists of predominantly pink and blue wallpapers and stuff. By default the Glass is set to the "Blush" color, a very light and transparent Pink, but it plays nicely with clear, light, blue glass as well. I never thought I'd have a pinkish theme, but after installing that japan one with the cherry blossoms, I quite liked it. You may also notice I use a slightly larger mouse pointer size, and I reduce the size of the minimize/maximize/close buttons, for I really dont like the titlebar being thick and stuff, its not so pretty and a waste of space imo .

themepacks will not install??

hello,

downloaded a themepack from the top of this thread and it will not open. windows says search the internet for a compatible program and there is none.

the file in question is surf

tried to view the file through the link given online and it will not open there either.

would be nice if one could preview the contents of this file online before downloading something one does not actually want as well.

Unfortunately you have made the same classic noob mistake as myself, when saving your theme save as a themepack and not theme, when saved as theme they do not contain images or custom icons, it only saves the Aero setting and links for the wallpaper you selected.

how does one little theme icon have 4.9 mb?

downloaded one of these themepacks and all it's only a tiny icon that is 4.9 mb in size. it will not open in anyway or install anything. that's a lot of mb for an thumb size icon.

Valentines Day Theme

I got to messing around with the themes, and since this holiday is around the corner.... and since the lil lady requested it..... i give you my Valentine Themepack..... tadaa

Details:

16 wallpapers
Custom advanced colors
Script MT Bold Text
Red Mouse Pointer Group
Transparency enabled

The only problem/bug/issue/ with this theme is that the "application background" color (which was custom colored in this theme) is a pinkish/red hue. If you run an app that has red text, it will not show up not matter what shade of red it is. I had to manually change this for one of my apps since i had customized the text to be red in the first place. just an FYI
