Hello Guys, I desperately need help to fix my laptop. Due to recent BSOD, I reinstalled my OS hoping that it will resolve the problem. But after I installed GPU's driver I keep getting the same BSOD as before. I have tried upgrading Bios, Installing driver from Asus (because my laptop series is Asus K45Dr) or from ATI. clean the CPU fan. But none works and I still get this BSOD. If someone knows how to fix this problem please help me

Hi luminoussin,

As a test, could you disable the APU in device manager and try to install the GPU driver.

already tried, but still the same. Seems like my VGA is broken. Do you know how to check whether a VGA is broken or still usable?

Do you have warranty?

No, this laptop is already almost 5 years old. That is why I suspect that the VGA is already faulty

Ok thanks for your reply, but I think I will not do furmark test because of 2 things which is :
1) Yesterday I also consult with a technician from a service center and he confirmed that my laptop is running with high temperature after installing driver on a certain point of the laptop (1 place generates a high temperature while the other isn't) which he indicates that the VGA is already faulty
2) I cannot run do furmark test since I am currently running with a onboard VGA not the dedicated VGA due to unable to install the driver. So the test definitely will be off the mark

But overall, I can already pinpoint the cause of my laptop problem therefore I already submit this post as solved. I am truly grateful for your help, this definitely will definitely will help me when I encounter similar problem on the future

So once again, thank you for all your help
