Create a password

This is a single home computer. I am Administrator. That is what it is telling me under the computer name.

Windows cannot change the password. I don't have a password to start with. It does not give any reason why not in the pop up window.

try enabling the built in admin account and see if you can add a password for the account you want a password on. Built-in Administrator Account - Enable or Disable

What exactly is the matter? Can you still logon to the User Profile? What were you doing (new User Profile, access Folders and Files, install a Program, online Purchase, etc.) before you were prompted for a Password?
