Solved Win 7 - still need Visual C++ and .Net Frame?

I'm using Win 7 Ultimate and no longer check for updates. Yes I know the arguments for upgrading. Question: in Programs and features, do I still need all those listed in the attached? Thanks.

The computer will work perfectly fine without any .Net Framework, but increasingly, applications and web sites are using .Net Framework, and so you may miss out if you don't have it installed.

Snick, thanks. Do I need to keep ALL the C++ files, or just the most recentt?

Hi

It all depends on your installed programs, the specific C++ is called by it - IF required.
you can in theory remove all of them, and the next time you run a program that requires it, it will tell you and request to install it.

Win7 comes with .NET framework 3.5.1 (along with .NET 2.0 & 3.0) which seems to be almost forgotten and can't be removed
