I had the same problem with a 0x000007 BSOD error, and found a handy little tool online called BlueScreenView, which allows you to analyse the minidump file. I used this and found that the ATI Radeon drivers that Windows 7 installed were causing the fault. I downloaded the ATI Radeon Xpress 1200 drivers for Vista, and installed them, and hey presto, no more BSOD's!

The BlueScreenView is a very handy tool.

You think those are bad - Cable tv/net provider here Cablevision had the bsod transmitting on a channel around 90-100 (forget now) for a few hours once. I was like....huh? heh heh

I think it was an NT box at the time.

Of course, you see it at times in the supermarket self checkout lines. At that point you have to wonder about the security of those machines if they're using Windows on them, rather than a specified operating system for that.
