Lenovo V145 installing windows 7 With USB

Hello brothers...

i hve trouble installing windows 7 into my labtop Lenovo V145

Here the spec

Lenovo V145 (15") | 15" laptop for everyday business | Lenovo UK

i need windows 7 to be installed because most of my working software support only windows 7

it wont detect the HDD and ask me to Browse and find driver ( i think its the ACHI Driver )

i have changed the BIOS setting from ACHI to Compatible ( it have only these 2 option )

also change the Boot mode to Legacy boot ( it have UEFI and Legacy ) and disable CSM too

it detects the HDD if i boot from DVDS but it always errors at 85% ( i believe that from the DVD has bad images on it ) and i cannot burn it anymore ( i could not find a blank DVD here )

i tried to find ACHI driver but it have only for intel chipset and not for this AMD A4....

Any Ideas brother?

Did you realise that your Laptop is only compatible with Windows 10? That is usually why Windows 7 installers fail to install crucial drivers for the computer. You can update the Windows 7 installer media here, but the installation updater will require a blank DVD . The other reason the installation might fail, is if the BIOS settings are setup incorrectly.

Ok thank for the reply... my brother inlaw gave me this labtop i did not check the BIOS compability...

now i managed to install windows 7 on it and now it not detect any hardware but keyboard.. even i plug USB it wont detect.. thank... case closed brother...

Welcome to the Forum

Many people here has a hardware built to have Win 10 and has installed Win 7 (it's also my case).
We need to know more about your hardware. The link you provide gives some CPU options. We need to know the exact model.

New hardware requires some drivers (SATA, USB3.x, MVMe) that are not on the Win 7 installation drive. That is why you don't have USB and it ask for a AHCI driver
You must add those drivers to the Win 7 installation drive.

SIW2 has made a script to add those drivers to the installation media.
