Booting Windows 7 HDD on Modern Hardware

The hard drives from my old PC no longer boot Windows 7 when installed in my new PC. They all freeze at the Windows logo when attempting to boot. The same thing happens with my Windows 7 Professional installation disc (x64).
How do I boot these hard drives using my new hardware?

MSI MPG Z690 EDGE WIFI DDR4 LGA 1700 ATX Intel Motherboard

Thanks! Well I have sata HDDs that work with both PCs, so that must mean there are sata drivers, correct? Ubuntu works fine on my new PC and I have an HDD with Windows 10 that also boots from it.
As for UEFI support, are you referring to my motherboard or Windows 7? From the looks of the BIOS screen, or whatever it's called, my motherboard supports UEFI.

You removed the HDD containing Windows 7 Professional 64-bit from your old PC and installed it in your new PC?

You didn't describe the hardware in your old PC, but I'm guessing the BIOS was set in legacy mode.
