Hi

you will need the PCI/VEN details, they will likely be shown as Unknown Device, possibly in network adapters

Control panel >> Device Manager- >> Unknown Device >> RIGHT click > Properties > details > from dropdown - hardware ID

then look up the pci/ven

In my case I use a Wi-Fi USB, usually the driver is already in the USB, visible the first time in File Explorer, and install the driver, otherwise manually find the driver on the Internet, usually it is called Realtek 8811CU Wireless LAN 802.11ac USB NIC

snafubaby:

If it's a USB wireless dongle, it should appear in its Device Manager - Properties - Details - Hardware Id section as:

USB\VID_xxxx&PID_xxxx

What are the exact 4-character codes in the xxxx sections of that string?

hi!

snafubaby:

If it's a USB wireless dongle, it should appear in its Device Manager - Properties - Details - Hardware Id section as:

USB\VID_xxxx&PID_xxxx

What are the exact 4-character codes in the xxxx sections of that string?

It says "USB\VID_0E8D&PID_7610&REV_0100" and underneath it says USB\VID_0E8D&PID_7610"

Your wireless dongle is a MediaTek MT7610 802.11ac model.

SIW2 is helping you, so you are in good hands.
