Hi,
I am a US Citizen currently living in India.
I need expert help from people living in India.
I have a Bank account with a bank named " associatedbank.com " for over 30 years.
For last 3 weeks I am not able to open this website from India & thus cannot Log In my account & do any transactions. It seems that they have changed the interface of website or more. Before that 3 weeks ago I had no problem opening & logging In.
I talked to 3 different supervisors at the bank including the top " AVP, Senior Supervisor-Customer Care Center "
She & I did troubleshooting the Chrome Browser ( In my Win-7 ) & also tried using Microsoft Edge browser. for over an hour a week ago but still I could not open the website.
So she said she will get back to me & then she emailed me a message that reads " After reviewing the logs and discussing with the others on the team, there is nothing blocking your ability to use our site. " Then suggesting to update Chome & if that does not work then use a different device.
I am able open all other Major bank websites in that area as well as tens of other websites in US on a daily basis.
I am 75 years old & my livelihood depends on remitting money from that bank to a bank in India.
My humble request is :
(1) Is anyone in India able to just open that website using latest version of Chrome or any other browser ?
(2) What happens when you try to open that website & kindly post the message you get if website doesn't open & your expert suggestion ?
(3) If it does not violate forum rules, could you please state the city & State from which in India did you try to open that website so that I can tell the bank if anyone in India is able to open the website ?

Without access to the website I cannot put food on my table, buy any medicines or see a doctor, pay the bills etc etc.
Basically I cannot survive.

So please help. I will be very grateful.
Ramesh

The message here is telling you that the website is explicitly blocking you based on where you are, so you are basically unable to ever access that website from there.
Your only reasonable hope would be to use a VPN from some country not disccriminated against by the site, preferably your home country, so that you bypass the block, VPNs excels in avoiding geoblocks. Of course the bank could reasonably block VPN output nodes too, but it's worth trying.

The best solution would, of course, be to speak with them and ask for options, but I find very unlikely that they'll lift the ban just because of you, even being a legitimate user.
