What type of DHCP information are you getting from your router. Open a command prompt and type ipconfig /all >>C:\ipconfig.txt (that should put a text file called ipconfig.txt in the root of your C drive) open the file and examine the information regarding your specific network adapter, you can edit the file and for security edit the actual line for your physical address, then attach it to your next post

If you can give me the model router you have and also the version number on the router I can check to see if it's on the Windows 7 compatiblity list. If it's not on the list there is a good chance that it won't work. There could also be a firmware update that will allow it to work with Windows 7.

Lots of problems with older routers and Windows 7 lately.

Have you setup IP address manually or it is DHCP.
BTW, default gateway in ur ipconfig is missing.
Are you able to ping your modem or router? If u have a router, disengage it and conn to the modem and check.

In Network & Sharing, do you have Discovery turned ON ? Do you have the correct name for your WorkGroup? Do you have a unique name for your computer name different from any others on the network ?
