Excellent work, Prisoner, Congrats & Thanks!!!
My comments :
- i would like different settings (for taskbar & windows, for exemple). Is it enable yet, or simply doable?
- i would definitely vote for an explorer background setting...
- i've met some prob with yahoo widgets (sometimes totally blacked... but not sure it's because of your app...)
- i second here the SG9's idea about donation... You don't need a credit card to get a Paypal account, only an e-mail and a current bank account... Think about it... !

And Congrats for the gadget minimizer too!!!

You can get multiple settings by running the app twice, or more as needed (there's a button on the main interface to do that).
The explorer background settings is currently impossible with the language I'm using. Sucks, but can't have everything.
The problem with Yahoo gadgets is probably my app. I wouldn't be able to test around it, but my best idea is to use the sidebar gadgets instead.
For donations, I don't have a bank account either... I'm only 14!

I've tried the "run another instance" option, but didn't seems to work with me... I wanted the explorer less transparent but it was more instead...
I'll give it another try tomorrow...
No widget probs anymore... I just have two & i love'em, no way to replace by win gadgets...

Gah. I just checked, I accidentally forgot to remove the line that would make it the only instance of the program to run at once... (That means that if you run the program again, it closes the last one before running) I'll fix that up in the next update. Don't worry about giving it another try.
And, glad to hear the widgets are working.

I which found for the Hide problem #164 !!!

You can use a VB Script to run it hidden such as:

Set WSHShell=WScript.CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
WSHShell.Run "<Path to EXE>", 0, True

and assign a shortcut key to its Start menu shortcut so pressing it will launch it again to show the window.( http://www.sevenforums.com/customization/69803-start-appliction-minimized.html )

I have a new Idea. You can make 2 exe files one exe (startup exe) file is a background file for read the systemtransparency.ini and maked transparency no tray icons. And the exe two is a settings exe for the settings and save all settings in the systemtransparency.ini is this a good idea ???

That's possible, and it could be a good idea, but one of the things I'm trying to keep with this program is just the one EXE. It makes things less complicated, so I don't have to call to the other EXE every time I need to read/write a variable to/from the .ini file.

Nice idea, though. Keep 'em coming!

I don't think this one will be the last version, not at all. I just need to get the source code back from before my system crashed. After that, I'll need to get Windows 7 running again, and then I'll be able to add new features.

Well, i had system transparency installed for a couple weeks, but then, AVG picked it up as a trojan. it could just be a false positive, but you might want to look into that.

i believe my IOBit Security 360 also picked it up as a trojan.
i hope this is helpful info, whether it be helpful to the creator in getting the issue resolved, or helpful to downloaders. ^^

Hmmm, interesting. AVG no longer picks it up as malware. Did you fix it that fast or is it a coincidence?
Also, on a side note. I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium x64 bit and i have used your program with aero enabled. I haven't had any problems what so ever with the start menu, the taskbar, or windows media player. it works perfectly for me.
