Well, I am not allowed in the country anymore if I don't root for Brazil, so I will.... Indeed that is the only time I watch football, and I enjoy it. And I think we got a decent team and a down-to-earth coach, so a real chance.

Here in the UK if you buy certain TVs from Toshiba (or some other brands) this Summer and England win the world cup, Toshiba will refund you the entire price of the TV .

In terms of whether or not we can win, I think England will do what we always do, play really well until the quarter finals and then get nocked out by a fairly mediocre team.

Fingers crossed .

Oh and for Brazil, I may not support them in football but I support them in cricket because my old Latin Teacher plays International Cricket for Brazil .

Yeah, I didn't know Brazil had an International Cricket team until he told me .

I think I remember him saying it was something like 2 Scots (including him) a couple of guys from India, another few from Australia, a couple from England and they had one guy who was actually from Brazil (I gather he wasn't very good ).

Friends who are avid fans tell me that our national team is weak at this time and that the US are a pretty strong team for a change

Today I just cant shake the feeling that it's Saturday, not that my Saturday routine is any different to any other day of the week, but it just feels like Saturday
