My best experience is with Netgear. I am currently using the DG835PNB with integrated modem. But I have never used the ones you listed.

a netgear or a linksys would be alot nicer, but it also depends on budget.

In the US, they are all cheap. I have seen them for as little as $35 and less (without modem - router only). But the going price is $45 to $55. Have a look here.

The ASUS RT-N16 has a nice feature that torrent users would enjoy (you don't need to have the computer on to finish downloading).

Is this router better than the ones I mentioned?

I have no experience with this particular model. But I trust Linksys. And what can you loose at this price (just the ethernet cable that comes withit is nearly worth that much). I would only think that the range is limited because it seems to have only an internal antenna. That is probably OK from one room to the next but I would not expect it to reach to the other side of the street.
The customer reviews are pretty positive - even relative to range. There are over 270 customer comments on the Newegg posting. You might want to read those.

I just has to reach to the next room, is this router better than the Bowan, Speedtouch and Zyxel routers?

Now you ask me a question that I cannot answer because I am not familiar with those exotic routers that you list. But Linksys is a reputable make for routers and I would go with it - especially since you do not need an extreme range.

well when you bring it down to that I would chose the Zyxel Prestige 660HW-D1 ADSL2+ POTS becouse the speedtouch 585 is discontinued.
