Out of Options

Over the past few months, I have been trying desperately to fix the problems of my computer. It seems as though as time has progressed, the problems have changed from one hell to another.

Currently, my computer will automatically shut down with the famed "blue screen of death", my mozilla foxfire will randomly shutdown giving me an error message (this happens frequently while on my browser), I am unable to install new programs from CD's (however I am able to install programs online), and until recently, I was unable to get my computer to recognize my external hard drive.

In these months I have had dell come out and replace my video card, motherboard, cpu, 4 memory cards, I/O board, and graphics accelerator, I have reinstalled windows 7 dozens of times, and recently, had my hard drive reconfigured.

I have been on the line with dell for so many hours I have a few of their names memorized. They have been absolutely no help. I am no where even close to calling myself an expert so I hope that someone on here can help me figure out the problem, my assumption since to my knowledge I have ruled out any problems with viruses or hardware, that it is windows itself. Can anyone figure out a different reason before I have to go buy a new windows 7 disk?

It's probably nothing wrong with windows 7... dell has a documented history of deliberately and knowingly selling faulty hardware, which they always replace with more faulty hardware.

Yesterday I reinstalled windows 7

Did your problems start with windows 7 or did you also have them in vista? Can't assume it's hardware if the errors and bsods started immediately after you upgraded to windows 7? I wouldn't bet any money on my ability to diagnose hardware failures with the information I have, but I would definitely not trust anyone who works for dell to fix your computer if you're having multiple hardware failures.. Take it to a local guru instead, nearly every town has at least one

I'm not exactly sure how long I am suppose to wait or if these files slowly build so let me know if I should update the info from the folder at a later date.

Unfortunately this computer has had problems for so long it's really all meshed together, if it has been going on since vista I wouldn't be 100 percent sure or be able to prove it. Thank you for the article .

I see a number of driver-related potential causes.

Your nVidia network drivers are outdated, as are your nVidia storage and RAID ones. I would look on this page for those: Dell - Drivers and Downloads

Your nVidia graphics drivers are outdated too, which is what I suspect the real answer is. Download the latest ones from here: Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers

Welp, I tried downloading all of the drivers, with no luck I'm afraid. I do appreciate the effort and help though. I'll just have to take it down to someone and see if they can do anything to help.
