Copy files between hard drives - Please need help!

If you feel you are computer savvy enough to try something with a learning curve you can try booting a Ubuntu CD in Live mode. This will give you the option to copy files from one disk to another without the OS locking or blocking the copying of files. Please note if you are using any encryption un-encrypt your files before doing this.

Download the desktop version it has a Live option:

may be yur HDD is havin bad sectors.... try running chkdsk utility and make sure that yur HDD is perfect.. if its perfect then yu can recover the files at hme itself... its some issues related to windows loop copy r so... cos sony always follows a different CRC n other stuffs.. mostly they ll throw error...


hence perform a chkdsk and make sure yur HDD does'nt hav any bad sector.. if it doesn't, then install Ubuntu r any linux versions n make a copy.. it'll surely help... :)

Someone already told me to run it and I did and it has errors that cant be fixed.
