Hi
i read some tutorial
and i make firewall rule for the program to avoid to connect to the net
it was and it's a test to learn how the w7 firewall work
well i do this rule, and reboot the pc
well i run this program (it has a update check on , i can disable) but again it was a test
i run the program and let it to check for update , and it is able to connect to the net despite the firewall rule
i can post some screenshots
in poor words , can i avoid a program to connect to the net ?
can i block this program for incoming and outbound connections?
thanks

rb: and type the word "Firewall". Click "Windows Firewall with Advanced Security". It is there where you can set inbound and outbound rules for a program. For setting inbound rules, click "Inbound Rules" on the left pane. On the right pane, choose "New Rule...". Follow the onscreen instructions in the New Inbound Rule wizard. The same applies to outbound rules.
