Hello all, and if can someone please help me, a virus or malware was downloaded into my computer(bunch of Chinese ads), I used malware bytes to cleaned it; however, I went into the registry and deleted some files(thinking that it was virus residue), and to this day I am having some issues with my computer: I tried to wirelessly print a document and was not able to, I did the troubleshooting steps through control panel and threw the following unfix able error: "Either the Peer name Resolution protocol Service(PNRPsvc) or the Peer Networking Identity Manager service (p2pimsvc) is not running". I have Microsoft Security essential and the virus definitions would not work because "the network is offline", also, when I click on "windows update" from the control panel , it says "windows update cannot currently check for updates, because the service is not running". I tried doing the system restore to a few weeks back but still no good. I think it has something to do with the folders I deleted from the registry, thanks for the help in advance.

i tried the "sfc/scannow"on the CMD, a bunch of logs came up but then there was a message on the bottom of my home screen that said that my version of windows 7 was corrupted and I had to do a(one of many) system restore to correct it because it would not allow me to access any access to the internet.
I am going to try the repair install steps; however, I am a bit worried about it, if anything goes wrong I dont have a lot time to be without my computer, also I see it says something about some discs, but I do not own any windows 7 discs. Thanks

Yes, you will need installation DVD/USB. You can ask friends. Any version will do as long as it is the same bit (32 or 64). We have a tutorial to unlock different editions from a particular one.
