What's your memory assessment speed?

    how do you keep the winsat window open?

    it's closing here as soon as the test has finished - the problem is winsat mem opens in its own window and does not run inside the window it was started.

    you need to run it as administrator, i explain how to on the first post at the beginning of this thread

    hmm, its not the fact that you may have less programs installed? people usually say that going to x64 is faster.lol.

    yes Christmas, if only they put the damn public holidays one after the other instead of having them jumbled, i have to work this Saturday but not the day before and Monday is a holiday. what's the point in having to work Saturday and not the days around it? anyways,

    Here is my memtest on Win 7 pro 64 bit
    Muskin DDR2 ram 8 gigs dual channel @ 1066 5, 7,7,24 timings

    i read thru the post steps i have taken

    turned off UAC
    rt clicked cmd
    run as admin
    typed winstat mem on the line

    see atatached

    Same as Before but with tighter timings
    Mushkin 1066 @ 5,5,5, 15 timings
    Increased MBs
