Well, I played around and found something interesting. I was going to move my FAX and SCANNED DOCUMENTS folders (they are in Libraries -> Documents) to my D: drive (using a symbolic link or junction).
In FAX and Scan, if you go to FAX VIEW, you can see the following folders (left pane):
Incoming
Inbox
Drafts
Outbox
Sent Items
However, on C:\Users\me..\My Documents\FAX there are only 2 folders:
Drafts
Inbox
If you go to Tools -> FAX settings ADVANCED tab, it shows an archive folder location of:
C:\Program Data\Micrsoft\Windows NT\MSFax
In that location, I have:
Activity Log
Common Coverpages
Inbox
Queue
SentItems (missing space)
VirtualInBox
There's a welcomefax.tif file in VIRTUALINBOX as well as the C:\Users\me...\My Documents\Fax\Inbox. So, I renamed the one in fax\inbox and now when I open FAX and Scan, that tif IS missing so F&S must be looking at the one in USERS\me...
But, what's this "archive" location for that shows on FAX Settings ADVANCED tab?
Anyone looked at this before?
