Hello everyone, I have a problem with my audio in my Windows 7. My english kinda bad and the problem is pretty detail for me, so I hope everyone can understand this

First of all, I ran a windows 7 on 64-bit on a Fujitsu laptop, and recently (like 4 months ago) I bought a device called Focusrite 2i2 Studio for recording podcast via Cakewalk by Bandlab, its plugged in in USB port and every time I plugged it in the audio driver changes automaticly to Focusrite (so there's no sound in the laptop speakers)

And it worked fine for months but as time goes by, I get a lot of BSOD's, I already posted this problem in the BSOD forum, and I ended up downloaded the latest USB 3 port driver and the Focusrite Driver, but yesterday when I want to plug my focusrite again... There's an ENDLESS crackling sound everywhere I play audio. Players, Spotify, Youtube, all crackling and stuttering and it happened all the time. But weirdly when I talk in my microphone it sounded fine, so I think the errors are just in the output/playback.

I got scared, so I shut down the computer, unplugged the focusrite, and start the laptop again but without my focusrite. I plugged in normal earphone in the audio jack in my laptop, and STILL I got those crackling horrors. It's not as constant as the one from my focusrite, It happened randomly, sometimes every 5 seconds, sometimes in 8 constant seconds, sometimes there's no problem for like 4 minutes but there they are

The sound is like a stutter, craclkling, and lagging sound, like a latency problem. And I can't do my work because of this noise. I don't know what to do or where is the problem.

Please help me guys, what is supposed to be the solution for this? I'm getting frustrated and sad actually

Hi Nozanda-

This looks (see how carefully I avoided the word "sound" :D) like you're getting electrical interference. Is the system located near any other electronics or electrical devices?

The system located near other electronics devices ?? Do you mean where the system is located in the laptop ??

What I meant was, is the laptop located near any other electrical devices? For instance, if you stand in the middle of a room which has no electrical devices, do you still get the noise?

I had similar problems, nasty crackling sounds when playing videos, managed to trace the fault to a bad secondary monitor cable: due to constant pulling, the wires had degraded at the plug.
Cheers, Ade
